Foo Kon Tan Grant Thornton converts to a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) from 1 January 2010.

Foo Kon Tan Grant Thornton converts to a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) from 1 January 2010.

On 1 January 2010, pursuant to the Limited Liability Partnerships Act (Chapter 163A), the accounting partnership of Foo Kon Tan Grant Thornton converts to an accounting limited liability partnership – Foo Kon Tan Grant Thornton LLP.

As a result of this conversion, the business of Foo Kon Tan Grant Thornton will be transferred in its entirety to Foo Kon Tan Grant Thornton LLP effective from 1 January 2010. Accordingly, please note that:

• Foo Kon Tan Grant Thornton LLP shall replace Foo Kon Tan Grant Thornton as the provider of services to our clients;
• any documents held by Foo Kon Tan Grant Thornton, for or on behalf of our clients, shall be transferred to Foo Kon Tan Grant Thornton LLP; and
• any money or funds held by Foo Kon Tan Grant Thornton, for or on behalf of our clients, shall be transferred to Foo Kon Tan Grant Thornton LLP.

There will not be any changes to existing working arrangements or in our on-going work as auditors or advisors. No action is required on the part of our clients. We would like to assure our clients that the conversion does not affect the service we provide you, or with the day-to-day operations. Our office address and contact details remain the same.
